Here are the 2 phones with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC confirmed so far | Digit

Qualcomm recently unveiled the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor and arch-rivals Redmi and Realme were quick to announce their respective phones with SD 7+ Gen 2. The names are Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Realme GT Neo 5 SE. Here’s what we know about both these phones.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo

Redmi Note 12 Turbo could come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It could sport FHD+ resolution and 120/144Hz refresh rate. The front is likely to have a punch-hole cutout for housing the selfie camera.

The back cameras could consist of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro sensing module.

Under the hood, the Note 12 Turbo could find a place for a 5500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and Android 13-based MIUI 14 software besides Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.

In the global markets, it could launch as Poco F5.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE

Realme GT Neo 5 SE is said to come equipped with a 6.74-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen with a hold punch cutout. Within it, a 16MP camera is expected. Behind the phone, there could be a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP macro sensor. Inside, we could be getting a 5500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is an 8-core chip including one Cortex X2 running at 2.91GHz, three Cortex A710 clocked at 2.49GHz, and four Cortex A510 cores running at 1.8GHz clock speed. It is based on a 4nm manufacturing process from TSMC. You get 5G (mmWave and sub-6GHz), Adreno 725 GPU, support for up to 200MP camera sensor, and WiFi 6E.
