Grogan and Sanders Tabbed MSC Baseball Players of the Week

Bowling Green, Ky. – Freed-Hardeman’s (Tenn.) Zach Sanders and Thomas More’s (Ky.) Mychal Grogan have been named MSC Baseball Players of the Week, announced conference officials Monday.

MSC Baseball Player of the Week

Zach Sanders – Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – Sr. – INF – Mt. Juliet, Tenn.

• Sanders led the Lions at the plate through a four-game win streak, driving in 12 runs.
• The senior knocked seven hits to go 7-13 from the plate including a home run and a double.
• His best performance saw him go 3-5 with five RBIs and a homer to cap the series against Lindsey Wilson.
• This is his second career MSC weekly honor.

MSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Mychal Grogan – Thomas More (Ky.) – Jr. – P – Cincinnati, Ohio

• Grogan went seven innings in a win against Wilberforce.
• The junior allowed just a pair of hits, and no walks.
• He struck out 11, surpassing the single season program record for strikeouts.
• This is his fourth career MSC weekly award.
