Govinda Naam Mera song Bijli: Kiara Advani raises temperature, Vicky Kaushal busts out electrifying dance moves. Watch

Bijli, the first song of Vicky Kaushal-starrer Govinda Naam Mera was unveiled on Friday. Kiara Advani was seen dancing with Vicky in the catchy song sung by Neha Kakkar and Mika Singh. In the clip, Vicky introduced Kiara’s Bijli from Kolhapur, who will add ‘aag (fire)’ to their mohalla (locality) with her magic, before they performed together along with a sea of background dancers. Kiara was decked up in a bright green and red outfit in the song picturised in what appeared to be a chawl (housing). Vicky Kaushal joined her wearing a yellow T-shirt and red shirt with green bandana tied around his head. Vicky and Kiara are seen dancing in-sync to lyrics like, “current mare Bilji (this Bijli is giving electric currents)…”

The song is composed by Sachin-Jigar, written by Vayu and sung by Sachin-Jigar along with Neha Kakkar and Mika. Sharing the video on Instagram, Vicky wrote, “It’s time to groove to the most electrifying tune of the season! Bijli SONG OUT NOW!” Many fans dropped fire and heart eyes emoji on the video. A fan wrote, “First time Vicky is dancing in a song.” Another one wrote, “The energy! Can’t wait.”

Earlier, the teaser of the song was released on November 23. Govinda Naam Mera stars Vicky as the titular dancer, and is a romantic comedy/thriller with the actor starring in an out-and-out masala entertainer for the first time. The film is set for a direct OTT release next month. Apart from Vicky and Kiara, the ‘masala’ movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Govinda Naam Mera is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has previously directed films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Dhadak. Govinda Naam Mera will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16. This film will be Vicky’s second OTT release after Sardar Udham.
