Google Play Store and Apple App Store announce best apps and games of 2021 | 91mobiles.com

Google and Apple both recently shortlisted their best apps and games for 2021. In total, Google has listed 15 apps and 20 games that made it to the list of the best apps in the Google Play Store, whereas Apple’s App Store highlighted the 15 best apps and games of the year across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV platforms.

The Cupertino-based tech giant chose League of Legends: Wild Rift, Marvel Future Revolution, Myst, and Space Marshals 3 as the best gaming titles on the App Store. Apple said that all these  games helped users “tap into personal passions, discover creative outlets, connect with new people and experiences, and simply have fun.” 

On the other hand, Google picked Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) from Krafton as the Best Game of the year in India, while Garena Free Fire Max has been named as the Users’ Choice Game of the year. Further, Google has separately introduced  ‘Best Games for Tablets’ to highlight tablet-focussed games, specifically suitable for a big screen with Chicken Police and My Friend Pedro amongst those games.
