Google Pixel Mini is possibly in the works – Smartprix

Google unveiled its Made by Google event scheduled for October 6 pretty recently. The brand is prepping up to roll out the Google Pixel 7 series smartphones in the event along with the Pixel Watch. Not only this, but the latest leaks suggest that we can also get to see a Google Pixel Mini smartphone soon. As per the report shared by popular tipster Digital Chat Station, Google is trying its hands on creating a small-screen flagship device that has been codenamed Neila for now.

It is also being said that the Google Pixel Mini will have a design similar to other smartphones from the series. The smartphone may get a centred punch-hole display and a two-tone rear panel design with the camera visor. As of now, the amount of information regarding the Google Pixel Mini is really limited. However, we are expecting to know more about the smartphone as soon as the launch approaches.

Google Pixel Mini competition and expected future

Google is no doubt trying to hit Apple where it hurts the most. While apple ditched the Mini moniker this time, Google adopted it and can soon roll out a device with the same too. Now, we can’t say that the Google Pixel Mini will be launched on October 6 with complete surety as the device could reach the market after that.

One thing which we are waiting to see is how Google is going to justify the Mini moniker in the upcoming device. Until now, the smallest screen phone by Google is the Pixel 6a which has a 6.1-inch OLED display. The Pixel 6a works on the Google Tensor processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Well, the expectations are that we will get to see a more powerful device in terms of performance and camera prowess as compared to the Google Pixel 6a.
