Google Pixel Fold leaked images suggest thin hinge – Times of India
According to the images shared by tipster Evan Blass, the Google Pixel Fold could come with a thin hinge and display with a wider aspect ratio. The hinge is one of the most important parts in a foldable smartphone and the industry has seen a few technological advances in this regard since the launch of Galaxy Fold, the first foldable smartphone for the masses.
The leaked images also show a centrally aligned hole punch cutout on the cover display. The images also suggest a Pixel Launcher home screen with themed icons, Google’s stock apps, and a blurred At a Glance widget. The phone is expected to come at least in a black colour variant.

It is speculated that Google may unveil the Pixel Fold at the upcoming Google I/O, which is scheduled for May 10. However, there has been no official statement on the same by the company.

Previous reports have suggested that in the US, the Pixel Fold may start at a price of $1,799 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and $1,919 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option.

Rumour mill suggests that the Pixel Fold will sport a 7.6-inch foldable display with a 1840×2208 pixels resolution, a 6:5 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is said to be a 5.8-inch OLED panel with a 1080×2092 pixels resolution.
Under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 SoC, complemented by a Titan M2 security chip and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Other leaked details of the Pixel Fold include a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera, a 10.8MP ultra-wide camera and a 10.8MP dual PD telephoto shooter.
