Google is expected to expand its Pixel 7 series smartphones with the launch of Pixel 7A. The unveiling of this mid-range device is expected to take place at the annual developer conference, Google I/O 2023, scheduled for the following month. Several leaks online have already disclosed the probable specifications of the forthcoming Pixel smartphone. Now a new rumour about the upcoming smartphone has surfaced online.
Popular tipster Evan Blass has posted a new render of the yet-to-launch Pixel 7A on Twitter. The leaked render hints that the smartphone may come in a new orange colour option. The colour option looks quite similar to the Coral shade of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 4. Apart from this, the smartphone is already tipped to come in blue, grey and white colour options. The render also reveals that the Google Pixel 7A will house a dual rear camera setup same as the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Along with the dual camera, the back of the device may also house the Google branding. The power button and the volume rockers will be placed on the left side of the smartphone.

Recently, another online report disclosed the probable specifications of the forthcoming Pixel 7A. As per the report, the mid-range smartphone by Google is likely to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display that has a 90Hz refresh rate. It is rumoured that the device will be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset and LPDDR5 RAM. The Pixel 7A is also expected to operate on the Android 13 operating system, straight out of the box.
According to the rumours, the Pixel 7A is likely to sport a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 64MP primary camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front of the device is said to house a 10.8MP selfie camera.
Moreover, the Pixel 7A is anticipated to possess a 4500mAh battery.
