Google Nearby Share for Windows just copied Apple AirDrop — here’s how to use it

Google has released a new beta for its AirDrop competitor Nearby Share that allows Android users to transfer files back and forth to their Windows PC.

First launched back in 2020 for the best Android phones, Nearby Share lets you use Bluetooth to quickly send files between devices. Besides smartphones, the feature also works on Android Tablets, Chromebooks and now, Windows PCs.
