Google has paid tribute to this beloved crunchy snack via a new interesting doodle game on its Google Search page. In fact, the Google search logo has also been changed to the pani puri doodle.
If you are not from India or somehow managed to not know about pani puri by living under the rock, then pani puri is one of the most loved street foods across South Asia. It can be seen selling on the streets as well as in 5-star hotels and fine-dining restaurants. This is a crisp small-sized ball filled with mashed potatoes or boiled white whole matar mixed with masala and a wide range of masala pani (hing, jeera, sweet, garlic, pudina, etc).
The Google Doodle pani puri game: What is it and how to play
Celebrating pani puri Google has made a simple yet interesting game that makes the players act as pani puri vendors and serve the clients pani puri with the flavour of water they want.
The game, although, is designed somewhat like a candy crush game where players will be shown what clients want in the form of pictures and players are supposed to click on the pani puri to basically serve them.
The image shown at the top also has the number of pani puris they want. Sometimes, the game also shows two different types of pani puris and players have to press on the shown image along with the number to get points.
Also, the game has two modes — Timed and Relaxed. In Timed mode, players will have limited time in which they have to click on the right option from the board of panipuris. Relaxed mode does not have any timer at all. Also, players have three chances.
Tips to know while playing the game
Be fast to count the panipuris and click on it
Be careful, as sometimes there are two pani puris that are shown in the image
There are three lifelines only and you’ll have to score maximum using that
