God of War Ragnarok launches on PS5 and PS4 in India: Price, where to buy and Day 1 patch notes – Times of India

The God of War Ragnarok game for PS4 and PS5 is now official and gamers can purchase the latest, much-anticipated instalment in the God of War series in India as well. The God of War Ragnarok has already received positive reviews from critics with a Metacritic score of 94 just behind Elden Ring which got a score of 96. The latest game is a successor to the 2018 God of War title.
God of War Ragnarok price in India
Currently, there is only one edition of God of War Ragnarok available in India. The God of War Ragnarok Launch Edition for PS4 price in India has been set at Rs 3,999. The God of War Ragnarok Launch Edition for PS5 is priced at Rs 4,999.
There is also God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition and God of War Ragnarok Jotnar Edition, available in the US.

Gamers willing to purchase the digital version of God of War Ragnarok can get it from the PlayStation Store. If you have the disc version of PS5, you can purchase the disc from ShopAtSC, Games The Shop, and Amazon.
Those who pre-ordered the game will get access to Kratos Risen Snow Armour and Atreus Risen Snow Tunic.
God of War Ragnarok Day 1 patch notes
God of War Ragnarok developer Santa Monica Studio has released a list of Day 1 patches to download. The Sony-owned studio has listed more than 160 fixes for both the PS4 and PS5 versions. These patches will enhance the gameplay experience and offer stability.
The studio says that it “strongly” encourages gamers “to download this patch to ensure you have the best possible experience.”

The game description on the Sony website reads that in God of War Ragnarok, Kratos and Atreus embark on a mythic journey to each of the Nine Realms as they prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world (Ragnarok). Both the characters “will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, gather allies from across the realms and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters.”
