Get a FREE hot or cold drink from Costa Coffee today, but only if you use Vodafone

If you’re hankering for a hot or iced drink, you can pick up a coffee from Costa today completely free of charge. Unlike the popular high street coffee chain’s previous promotion, this time around you’ll need to be on the Vodafone mobile network (or know someone who is – and doesn’t fancy a hot brew).

That’s because the offer comes courtesy of Vodafone’s VeryMe rewards scheme. For those who don’t know, VeryMe is a loyalty programme that dishes out weekly treats, giveaways, and prize draws personalised to every customer on the network. The more you take advantage of offers available in the VeryMe Rewards scheme, the better future promotions will be tailored to your tastes.

In the past, Vodafone has offered customers free movie rentals from Chili, popcorn from Joe & Sephs, and bags of sweets from Candy Kittens, to name a few.

And with restrictions slowly beginning to lift across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland – and high street shops, restaurants and cafés opening up, Vodafone is offering up rewards to those who are out-and-about again. The latest VeryMe reward includes hot or iced coffees up to a value of £2.65.

Depending on what your usual order is, that should comfortably cover a small version of the fanciest hot or iced drinks, while those who prefer a no-frills Americano might be able to upgrade to the next size up. If you’re not a fan of coffee, you’ll be able to gift your complimentary VeryMe drink to a friend or family member, even if they’re not on Vodafone, which is handy.

The offer started May 24, 2021 and runs until Sunday May 30, 2021. The offer will end early if all 30,000 drinks on offer from Vodafone are claimed by customers, so if you want to take advantage of the promotion – best to head to your nearest Costa Coffee sooner rather than later.

To get your hands on the discount, head to the VeryMe Rewards tab within the Vodafone app on iPhone or Android.

Once you’ve have unlocked your Costa discount code, you’ll be given the option to gift it to a friend or family member using WhatsApp, SMS, or email. If you send the code to someone else, you won’t be able to claim another for your own hot drink – there’s only one code per person, Vodafone warns.

The VeryMe Rewards tab within the Vodafone will only be available to those on pay monthly or Pay As You Go contracts with Vodafone. If you’ve just joined Vodafone, it can take up to 48 hours to get access to VeryMe Rewards. And if your phone can’t support the app, you can request that Vodafone sends rewards straight to your phone. Some business accounts with the carrier won’t be eligible for VeryMe, so don’t be surprised if that section isn’t available in your app.

VOXI, although owned and operated by Vodafone, has its own rewards scheme, which might differ from Vodafone.
