September is shaping up to be a decent month for new game releases. While PlayStation fans have been waiting for The Last of Us Part 1 remake, sports fans have games like FIFA 23 and NBA 2K23 to look forward to. Besides these, FPS players can check out Metal: Hellsinger and Nintendo Switch users can try out the much-anticipated Splatoon 3. Biomutant will launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the quirky soulslike Tunic will be coming to PS4 and PS5. Here are all the games releasing in September 2022:

The Last of Us Part 1 – September 2

The Last of Us Part 1 remake comes with some major visual upgrades and gameplay enhancements for PS5. The remake has been rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of the powerful hardware of PS5. The Last of Us Part 1 can now offer native 4K gameplay at 30 FPS or dynamic 4K gameplay at 60 FPS on compatible monitors. Along with these, the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback will improve the gameplay experience significantly.

Metal: Hellsinger – September 15

Metal: Hellsinger looks a lot like Doom at first, considering the first-person shooting experience and killing hordes of demons. However, it has an interesting gameplay mechanic that makes it a rhythm FPS game. If you shoot demons on the beat, the music will get even more intense and you will cause much more destruction. The game also has some fantastic metal music featuring System of a Down’s Serj Tankian, Trivium’s Matt Heafy, Dark Tranquility’s Mikael Stanne, Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz, and more. After killing several demons and bosses, you will get the chance to fight with The Red Judge himself.

FIFA 23 – September 30

EA’s next FIFA game, FIFA 23, will come with several visual improvements and gameplay enhancements over its predecessor. The game is powered by Hypermotion 2 tech on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S to deliver better animations and more realistic responses from players, which would make FIFA 23 feel much more immersive and responsive. Along with these, the game will have an improved dribbling system, new acceleration mechanics, revamped chemistry system, and more. What makes FIFA 23 even more special is that it will feature women’s football clubs for the first time in the franchise history.
