[Exclusive] Vivo X90, X90 Pro+ renders reveal complete design ahead of launch
Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ renders
The Vivo X90 series takes a page out of the Vivo X80 Pro playbook. The phones continue to sport a large circular camera island at the back to house quad cameras. In fact, both the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ look identical to each other. They will feature curved displays with a centre punch-hole cutout for a front-facing camera. The only noticeable difference between the two is that the camera module on the Vivo X90 Pro+ seems bigger than the one on the vanilla model.
Only the Red colour option for the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ comes with a leather-like texture on the rear panel. We also see the words “Xtreme Imagination” and “Vivo | Zeiss co-engineered” written across a black strip. The Black and Ice Blue colours have a matt finish. Lastly, the power button and volume controls can be seen on the right side of the frame.
With the standard model and the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 sharing a similar design, they look like they are part of the same family. For better or worse, it helps cement this as Vivo’s X-series design language since all members in the lineup look a lot like the Vivo X80 Pro.
We also know that the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ will come with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, at least in China. Further, the Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is expected to go official from Qualcomm in the coming days.
The Vivo X90 series is poised to break cover on November 22nd in China, the company has confirmed (via), and we expect to know more about these devices in the coming days leading to the launch event, via leaks and official teasers, of course.
