[Exclusive] Samsung Galaxy A13 4G production begins at Greater Noida factory, will feature quad cameras and plastic back | 91mobiles.com


Samsung is gearing up to launch a new entry-level smartphone in the A series, dubbed the Galaxy A13 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is expected to debut in early 2022. The smartphone is expected to be the cheapest 5G smartphone from Samsung. Earlier this month, tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer revealed the renders of Galaxy A13 5G. Later, the specifications of the device were tipped online. Now, 91mobiles has learned exclusively from industry insiders that Samsung is working on a 4G variant of the smartphone as well, dubbed the Galaxy A13 4G and that initial production of the same has started in India.

As per industry sources, Samsung has started the Galaxy A13 4G production at its Greater Noida factory. We also received key design details of the smartphone. It will come with a plastic rear panel with a glossy finish and feature a quad-camera setup, arranged vertically like we saw on Galaxy A52s 5G. At the bottom edge of Samsung Galaxy A13 4G will be the housing for a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and speaker grille. Meanwhile, the power button and volume rocker will be on the right edge.

As of now, not much is known about the specifications of the smartphone.

In related news, specifications of Samsung Galaxy A13 5G were tipped recently. The Galaxy A13 5G is expected to come with a 6.48-inch FHD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch. Further, the smartphone might be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset. The chipset under the hood would be paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. It is said to feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide camera, and 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone is expected to ship with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.

According to rumours, the Galaxy A13 5G could be priced at around $250 (around Rs 18,720).
