The first Nothing-branded service centre in India
Nothing will host service camps in its exclusive service centre in India for its customers periodically. Here, customers can also buy accessories, care packs that cover accidental or liquid damage, and warranty upgrade packs as well. Nothing plans to launch five exclusive service centre in five different cities by this year, and by 2024, it plans to add 20 more to its kitty.
Nothing plans to expand its service centre network from 230 to over 300 by the end of this month. With this expansion, Nothing will be covering 19,000 pin codes across the country. The London-based startup is also increasing its customer service team by 50 percent in India.
The launch of Nothing’s exclusive service c isentre part of the company’s expansion in India as it plans to launch its second-generation smartphone, the Phone (2). It’s launching globally and in India on July 11th. The company also announced ‘Nothing Drops’, its pop-up stores where it will be selling the Phone (2) and other devices. In India, Nothing Drop will be available in Bengaluru.
Nothing Phone (2) specifications
- Display: Nothing Phone (2) will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
- Processor: Nothing has confirmed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
- RAM and storage: The smartphone is expected to launch in three variants of 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB.
- Cameras: Nothing Phone (2) is expected to feature a dual camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS and EIS, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies, it could house a 32MP shooter on the front.
- Software: On the software front, Nothing Phone (2) will run Android 13 OS with Nothing OS 2.0 out-of-the-box.
- Battery, charging: The smartphone is confirmed to pack a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 15W wireless charging
