Elon Musk Reveals His Morning Diet After Twitter User Says “Sugar Is Poison”

Sugar helps elevate the sweetness quotient of anything from beverages to desserts and snacks. We all enjoyed sugar candies, candy floss as well as different types of halwa and mithai as children. While the ingredient is ubiquitous, it has emerged as the culprit behind several health issues ranging from obesity and diabetes to fatty liver and heart diseases. Due to this, many have termed sugar as “poison” which may seem harmless but its excess consumption can hurt our health. However, billionaire Elon Musk doesn’t seem to think so. How do we know? Well, he revealed his morning diet recently. Elon Musk’s revelation came in response to a Twitter user who stated that “Sugar is poison”.

Replying to him, the Tesla CEO wrote, “I eat a donut every morning. Still alive”.

Of course, other users too chimed in to react and share their opinion about sugar.

“A donut a day keeps the doctor away,” a comment read.

A user shared, “I eat donuts for my pre-workout gains. And it’s glorious”.

“I agree with Elon [Musk]. Sugar is not the enemy. Calling it poison is tantamount to calling water poison: drinking too much water and you drown, but drinking it in moderation is no problem at all. Water ain’t poison. Neither is sugar,” a person said.

One curious user asked, “What kind of donut? Chocolate? Honey Cruller? Boston Cream? Plain?”

“Who makes your favourite donuts in Texas? Or do you have a private chef? Or both?” another question read.

“Donuts are the perfect combination of flour and sugar fried in seed oil. One of the worst foods for health,” a user said.

“Get you some scrambled eggs and muesli,” a person suggested to Elon Musk.

“I have 2 lunches and 2 dinners. Still alive,” a user joked.

So, what do you have to say about sugar?
