Embark on a delicious trans-continental voyage as Edesia, a multi-cuisine restaurant at Crowne Plaza New Delhi Okhla, is hosting a Silk Route Food Festival for its patrons. The culinary extravaganza is a part of the 12th-anniversary celebrations of the hotel. It showcases the food stories from the lens of Marco Polo, one of the greatest explorers of his era.

Mediterranean and Asian cuisine lovers are in for a culinary joyride to the countries such as Italy, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Persia, Somalia, India, Indonesia, China, and Mongolia as the festival will house buzzing Shawarma Station, Carving Caravan, Teppanyaki Junction, The Kebab Road, Wok Station and more exciting things!

To get a taste of the same, we recently visited the food festival ourselves and were left speechless with the efforts and food that the Crowne Plaza team came up with. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will be mesmerized by blue fairy lights on one side and a much softer tone of gold lights on another. Right in your front, you will find a line of yummy dishes that will make you want to gorge on them all! Plus, the live counters offer a whole new experience as you see your favourite treats being assembled in front of you.

We started our treat with steamed dim sums and the filling, texture and the chutney alongside took our experience up a notch. Next up we had super crunchy cheesy shots and Amritsari fried fish, we just loved the starters and the dips enhanced our whole meal. If you love having fish, you can also try pomfret fish.

After having enough starters, the Chef offered us sushi. The presentation and the taste created an unforgettable experience for us. We also had fruit salad, paneer shawarma and other signature recipes. And in the end we have went straight to the dessert counter. From custard to Rasmalai, chocolate mousse, there were so many desserts. You name it and get it!
