NEW DELHI: Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze has received his first senior call-up for the England national team as coach Gareth Southgate announced the squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old Eze, who has impressed with his performances at Crystal Palace, was the only uncapped player included in the 25-man squad for the two Group C matches.
England will face Malta away and North Macedonia at home in their quest to secure qualification for the European Championship.

However, there was no place in the squad for Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling, who did not receive a call-up for the upcoming qualifiers.
England currently sit at the top of Group C following impressive away victories against Italy and Ukraine in their previous matches.
