dizo: Realme Dizo’s next smartwatch may boast of ‘biggest’ display in its segment – Times of India

Realme Smart Tech Life brand Dizo is set to launch another smartwatch in the Indian market. Likely to be called Dizo Watch D, it will be company’s new offering in the affordable smart wearables segment. The company’s CEO Abhilash Panda has been sharing hints about the upcoming smartwatch on Twitter. The first tweet says: “The Biggest. Coming soon. Any guesses?” The second tweet reads, “#BeDifferent is what we believe in, that’s why we have added a uniquely textured strap to our upcoming product.” Panda has also shared the image of a smartwatch strap in the tweet.

Sources told TOI-Gadgets Now that the upcoming Dizo smartwatch will boast of a 1.8-inch full touchscreen display. It is likely to be the biggest display offered in the segment yet. Other speculated display features include 550nits of high brightness and a range of watch faces. The fitness features include numberof sports modes, and health monitoring suite. The battery too is expected to be robust.
So far there is no information on the smartwatch’s pricing or launch date. However, it is likely that the smartwatch will be priced under Rs 4,000.
According to recent Counterpoint Research report, Dizo entered the top 5 brands in the smartwatch segment for the first time during the first quarter of the year 2022. The company stood at No. 4 with 4.4% market share. The company introduced AMOLED display with its recently launched model Watch R during the quarter. It also expanded its offline presence.
Realme launched its Tech Life brand Dizo in the year 2021. The brand offers affordable smart wearables and personal care products. The company also launched two Dizo feature phones — Star 300 and Star 500.
