Delta Air Lines has expanded its “Air+Rail” offerings to 20 additional European cities, the carrier announced this week.

In addition to connections from Amsterdam to Brussels and Antwerp in Belgium, which launched in August 2021, the carrier has added 12 new cities in the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, enabling connectivity directly from Brussels, Manchester, Rome and Zurich airports with a single Delta ticket for the entire journey, according to the carrier.

Connections from Geneva Airport also will be available once Delta launches its service there in April 2023. The airline said it is working with rail providers in each country.

From Brussels Airport, customers can use the train to travel to each Breda and Rotterdam in the Netherlands with operator SCNB. Travelers from Manchester Airport will have access to seven cities in the U.K. with operator TransPennine Express. Trenitalia will connect travelers from Rome-Fiumicino International Airport to four Italian cities, including Bologna and Florence. From Zurich Airport, customers can connect to seven cities, including Bern and Lausanne, with operator SBB. Once the Geneva route starts, train connections to those same seven cities also will be available.

Delta One passengers will receive first-class rail tickets. All customers need to collect their bags from the airport before arriving at the train station where tickets can either be printed in advance or collected from the station ticket office, according to the carrier.
