The Xbox’s PC Game Pass account on Twitter changed its profile picture to grassy hills and rock covered with fog and posted a tweet saying, “sometimes we just like a good landscape picture #NewProfilePic”. Well, that image might be from the Death Stranding Director’s Cut.

Xbox has not confirmed anything so far. But as per some of the eagle-eyed users on Twitter, the image is a snippet from the Death Stranding Director’s Cut released on PC earlier this year. So, the tweet seems to be a subtle teaser to the announcement.
We do not know if or when the game will be coming to the PC Game Pass, but if it is happening, we should expect some more hints in the coming days.
Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding first exclusively debuted on PS4 in 2019 and it was published by Sony. The game stars Sam Porter Bridges, who lumbers across post-apocalyptic America delivering packages.
The PC version of both Death Stranding and Director’s Cut comes from 505 Games. So, there could be a possibility that Xbox negotiated a deal with 505 Games to bring the title to PC Game Pass.
Earlier this year, Kojima announced an exclusive partnership with Xbox Games Studio. So, this would not be the first time these two collaborated with each other.
