Cyclone Biparjoy: Ajmer’s JLN Hospital flooded following heavy rain – ET HealthWorld

Jaipur: The incessant rainfall in Ajmer over the past 24 hours inundated a portion of JLN hospital in Ajmer on Sunday.

Due to waterlogging, the orthopedics ward of JLN Hospital had to be evacuated and the hospital administration relocated the patients to the trauma ward.

The belt of Jalore, Pali, Sirohi, Ajmer has been receiving rainfall due to the impact of cyclone Biparjoy. In Ajmer, the rainwater had entered a ward in the hospital.

On Monday morning, the hospital administration officials reached the ward to check the condition of the ward.

“The orthopedic ward is close to the road. It is because of the seepage of water from the road, the orthopedic ward has received the water. It happens during heavy rain or continuous rains for hours every year,” Neeraj Gupta, medical superintendent, JLN hospital, who was in the orthopedic ward to find out a permanent solution for the problem.

“We will take help from the expert engineers to find out the resolution for the problem,” he said.
