said Chief Executive
Arnold Donald
is stepping down from the role, and will be succeeded by its current operating chief
Josh Weinstein.
Mr. Donald will become vice chair of the company effective Aug. 1, when the change takes place.
Mr. Donald has served as CEO of Carnival Corp. since 2013 and shepherded the company through the Covid-19 pandemic, which brought the global cruise industry to a standstill.
