Maggi to most of us is synonymous to instant noodles and instantly takes us down the memory lane. Boiled noodles, mixed with the instant masala premix, it makes us slurp in just no time. So much so that besides making it at home, we also love having Maggi from those small joints across the city. Having said that, have you ever looked into the menu at these Maggi points? We recently came across one such Maggi variation that left a strong impression on our palate. It’s Mumbai’s special street-style Chinese Maggi masala. Hence, we went on looking for the recipe.

How To Make Mumbai’s Popular Street-Style Chinese Maggi Masala:

To make this dish, we need noodles, salt, red chilli sauce, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, green chilli sauce, oil, garlic, chopped ginger, onion, green chilli, green capsicum, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, carrot, cabbage, black pepper powder, Maggi masala, slit red chilli. And to garnish, we need some green onion.

Worried seeing such an elaborated list of ingredients?! Fret not, the dish is simpler than ever. You need just 15 minutes to prepare the dish.

To start with, boil the noodles without breaking them. Next, toss the boiled Maggi in some oil. Add the sauces and mix everything together. Keep aside.

Next, heat some oil in another pan and add chopped garlic, ginger and saute. Add chopped onion, green chilli and cook till the onion turns soft. Then add the bell peppers, carrot, cabbage and saute. Then, add salt as per taste, pepper powder and Maggi masala and mix everything together. Add green chilli too.

Finally, add the already sauted noodles to it, cook everything together and turn off the flame in a minute. Lastly, garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
