Television actor Charu Asopa celebrated her engagement with her husband, model-entrepreneur Rajeev Sen, on Monday. To commemorate the special occasion, she posted unseen pictures from the ceremony in Goa two years ago.
Charu Asopa wore a white gown, while Rajeev Sen complemented her in a white shirt paired with a matching blazer and black trousers. The caption of the Instagram post read, “#twoyearsofengagement #happyengagementanniversary.”
Fans showered love on Charu and Rajeev in the comments section. “Looking so so cute,” one wrote, while another commented, “congratulations didi”. A third called them a ‘beautiful couple’. Many also dropped heart, heart-eyes and fire emojis on the post.
Charu and Rajeev are expecting their first child, due in November. She made the announcement with an Instagram post last month, in which she was seen cradling her baby bump. “GRATEFUL, THANKFUL, BLESSED,” she wrote.
Rajeev’s sister, actor Sushmita Sen, also expressed her excitement at the happy news. She shared a picture of pregnant Charu and wrote on Instagram, “I’ve been waiting patiently to share this wonderful news with you all!! I AM GOING TO BE A BUA!! Congratulations to my beautiful sister in law @asopacharu & brother Rajeev on their blessed journey of parenthood!!” She also called it a ‘happy serendipity’ that the baby might be born on her birthday, November 19.

Charu has acted in shows such as Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Mere Angne Mein. She was most recently seen in the historical comedy show, Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, which came to a premature end due to low ratings.
Rajeev, meanwhile, will soon make his Bollywood debut with Iti – Can You Solve Your Own Murder? The film, a murder mystery directed by Vishal Mishra, will be produced by Vivek Oberoi’s home banner in collaboration with Mandiraa Entertainment.
