At CES 2023, Panasonic has announced new Lumix DSLRs – LUMIX S5II and S5IIX, Technics SL-100C Direct Drive turntable and headphones, OLED MZ2000, SoundSlayer gaming speaker and more. Here’s every product Panasonic announced at CES 2023.
These products will be made available in North America and other markets.
LUMIX S5II and S5IIX
Panasonic is introducing the LUMIX S5II, S5IIX and a new 14-28mm lens, equipped with PHASE HYBRID Auto Focus for improved image quality and flexibility in shooting. The S5IIX also offers features optimized for social media, including pro-video features and the ability to stream wirelessly or via USB tethering to smartphones. The camera design features a sleek, blacked-out logo for ease of use.
The Auto Focus feature will be demonstrated by breakdancing performances by 2024 Olympic hopefuls and a performance by electronic music producer Alchimyst at Panasonic’s booth on January 5th at 12:30 PM PT.
Technics SL-100C Direct Drive turntable and headphones
The new Technics SL-100C Turntable is a highly appealing option for hi-fi vinyl enthusiasts, featuring the classic Technics turntable characteristics of a coreless direct drive motor and high-precision S-shaped aluminum tonearm. The company is also introducing DJ monitoring headphones with newly developed high sound quality 40mm drivers to enhance Technics’ sound quality and performance.
SoundSlayer gaming speaker
The Panasonic SoundSlayer wearable gaming speaker SC-GN01 enhances the gaming experience with immersive surround sound from its 2.1 channel, 3-way speaker system and built-in subwoofer, all in a compact body.
Panasonic shows off new metaverse products
HaritoraX 1.1, a SteamVR compatible full-body tracking device for VR experiences that can capture ankle motion without instep sensors and offers over 10 hours of operation. The wireless version, HaritoraX Wireless, is fully wireless and runs for 20 hours with an optional charging dock. MeganeX is a lightweight VR headset with 6DoF and SteamVR support, featuring a 5.2K micro OLED display. FlipVR is a new style of VR controller compatible with SteamVR and Lighthouse tracking, allowing users to interact with real-world objects in VR. The mutalk is a soundproof Bluetooth microphone that prevents voice leakage and ambient noise.
