Customers Electronics Show (CES) will take place in the first week of January 2022. Ahead of the event, South Korean smartphone brand Samsung has announced it will host a keynote event on January 4. Titled Together for Tomorrow, the event will be delivered by Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman, CEO and Head of Samsung Electronics’ DX (Device eXperience) Division.
“The keynote will showcase ways that we can help build a more sustainable planet, and demonstrate customized and connected experiences that can enrich people’s lives”, Samsung said in the invite.
Samsung’s keynote will be live streamed via Samsung Newsroom and Samsung.com. Those interested can watch the event live on either of these websites.
It is expected that the company may finally unveil the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S21 FE at the event. Rumours say that Samsung may also reveal a glimpse of its Galaxy S22 series.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: What to expect
A report by SamMobile has revealed that Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may ship with Android 12 based One UI 4.0 operating system. The smartphone is tipped to come in both the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 variants based on the markets. It is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The device is said to have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to sport a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor paired with an ultra-wide sensor and a depth sensor. For selfies, it may have a 32MP camera at the front.
The handset may be backed by a 4500mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. The device is rumoured to be available in four colour options – White, Lavender, Cream, and Black.
