BSNL Rs 269, Rs 769 prepaid recharge plans launched: 2GB data per day, unlimited calls, and more

BSNL 5G is confirmed to roll out, at least in a phased manner, from August 15th, 2023. While Jio and Airtel have already started making their 5G services available in India in select cities and are expected to finish the rollout by March 2024. In the meantime, let’s take a closer look at the new BSNLL Rs 269 and Rs 769 prepaid plans.

BSNL Rs 269 and Rs 769 prepaid plans

BSNL Rs 269 plan: The BSNL Rs 269 recharge plan comes with 2GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS each day. BSNL also bundles BSNL Tunes which allows users to change songs without any limitations. There are additional benefits bundled with the plan, including Challenges Arena games, Eros Now Entertainment, Lystn Podcast Services, Hardy Mobile Game service, Lokdhun, and Zing.

BSNL Rs 769 plan: The BSNL STV769 come with 2GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS/day, and additional benefits, which are the same as the plans mentioned above. These include Eros Now Entertainment, Lystn Podcast Services, and others. Both plans are now available for users to recharge and are good options for customers who want a 30-day or a 90-day duration.

While the plans are good on paper the BSNL network on whole has a huge setback as it is still limited to 3G and doesn’t have support for 4G in the country. Jio and Airtel on the other hand have support for 4G and will soon upgrade to 5G.
