Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made some changes to its broadband plans portfolio. This change comes in the form of the removal of a couple of affordable broadband plans. The plans in question cost Rs 275, Rs 275 and Rs 775 and these plans were launched as a part of the Independence Day offer for a limited time period.
TelecomTalk has reported that the state-run telecom service provider has finally removed these plans starting January 1, 2023. BSNL was earlier expected to phase out these plans last month. However, as per reports, it removed the expiry date from the official website making them available for some more days. It was expected that the company would make these plans permanent just like other available broadband plans. However, the Rs 275, Rs 275 and Rs 775 plans are no longer available for customers to buy.
BSNL Rs 275 plans: Benefits
BSNL had two plans priced at Rs 275. Both plans offered 75 days of validity, 3.3TB of total data and unlimited calling. The only difference was that one plan offered 30Mbps speed, while the other plan offered 60Mbps speed. Also, either plan does not have any OTT services bundled with them.
BSNL Rs 775 plan: Benefits
Just like the two Rs 275 plans, the Rs 775 plan also came with 75 days of validity. The plan offered 100Mbps speed and 3300TB of total high-speed data. Post the high-speed data quota, the speed was reduced to 4Mbps. The plan also included OTT benefits along with unlimited local and STD calling. The OTT subscription it offered includes SonyLIV, ZEE5, Voot, Yupp TV, Disney+ Hotstar, Lionsgate, Shemaroo, and Hungama
Although these three broadband plans have been removed, the telecom service provided still has a wide range of affordable plans available for its customers.
