Blurr promo: Taapsee Pannu’s screams for attention go unanswered. Watch

A promo video of Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film Blurr is out and shows her world is blurred. In the clip, she calls someone and yearns for his attention. It shows Taapsee calling the person from behind a barrier as the camera moves around a house. As her calls for attention go unanswered, the video ends with a scream. Taapsee shared the promo via Instagram on Saturday with the caption, “Khatre ki aahat chaaron taraf hai but will Gayatri see it coming (there is danger at every corner but will Gayatri see it coming)? Get ready to witness her world through her eyes.” A person commented on her video, “When are you coming up with original scripts.” Another one said, “Wow acting and story looks good.” One more wrote, “I am waiting… really excited to see it.”

Blurr is a psychological thriller also starring Gulshan Devaiah, who was last seen in Duranga. Penned by Pawan Sony and Bahl, the film revolves around Gayatri (Taapsee), who is slowly losing her sight whilst trying to investigate the death of her twin sister. It is directed by Ajay Bahl and will have a direct-to-digital release on ZEE5. It is produced under Taapsee’s own production banner, Outsiders Films. It is shot extensively in Nainital and is also produced by Zee Studios and Echelon Productions.

Taapsee has said Blurr was one such script that kept her on the edge during the script reading. “That’s why it was an immediate yes when Vishal reached out to me for this project. Having shot almost half the film blind folded I am taking back home a lot of memories and real bruises which truly made me value the clear vision even more. After Section 375, I was really looking forward to working with Ajay sir. I hope the OTT audience is ready for some thrills and chills with this one,” she said in a statement.
