Black Pixel Watch will arrive with a matte finish case in select countries, confirms Google – Times of India

Google has officially confirmed that the upcoming Pixel Watch in Black colour will arrive in a matte black finish. The matte black variant of the smartwatch will be available for purchase in select countries. Not much has been revealed about Google’s first smartwatch since the I/O event where the company announced the watch will arrive in three colour variants–silver, gold and black it will come in.
Google Taiwan officially confirmed that the Pixel Watch’s darker variant will have a “matte black stainless case”. It also mentioned that,“Obsidian Black Sport Strap and the Lemongrass Green Sport Strap are only available on select channels.”
“We’re not certain if “Sport Strap” is the actual name of the rubber band we’ve been seeing in all shots since May. It’s a bit too close to the Apple Watch”, a report by 9To5Google states.

Unfortunately, the matte black variant will not be available for purchase in every country including Taiwan, for instance. Most likely it will be available in Europe and the US, reported 9To5Google.

Google will launch its first-ever smartwatch– Pixel Watch on October 6. The ‘Made by Google’ event will witness the launch of the Pixel Watch alongside the Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro flagship smartphones.
The Pixel series smartphones will go on pre-orders on the same day as its launch event while the Pixel Watch is tipped for shipping starting November.
