Apple‘s Beats Fit Pro from 2021 has got a paint job in three new colours — Tidal Blue, Volt Yellow, and Coral Pink. The new colours come as part of a new marketing campaign, “LOCK IN. WORK OUT.” The campaign features singer Chloe Bailey and tennis player Frances Tiafoe.
It is the second time the Fit Pro has been painted in new colours. Last year, Beats collaborated with Kim Kardashian and brought three neutral skin-tone colour options for the Fit Pro – Moon, Dune, and Earth.
Beats Fit Pro is much like the AirPods Pro from Apple. Apart from the design, the two have quite a few similarities. The two have the same H1 chip for “Hey Siri,” automatic device switching and active noise cancellation (ANC). But, the Fit Pro, as the name implies, is more oriented towards fitness enthusiasts with its wing-tip design.
Beats Fit Pro earbuds lack the stems of AirPods that have force sensors; instead, their controls are located on the main body of each earbud. The outer surface of each earbud, which bears the “b” Beats logo, functions as a clickable button.
A single press audio controls play/pause the music and answer/hang up for phone calls, while a double press skips to the next track and a triple press skip back to the previous one. There is also press and hold action, which can be set for each earbud to either summon Siri or adjust the noise cancellation.
The Fit Pro claims to last about six hours with active noise cancellation or transparency mode turned on, which extends up to 7 hours without noise cancellation. With the charging case, which has a USB-C port, the Beats Fit Pro can last for 21 more hours.
Buds Fit Pro comes at $199 (around Rs 16,500) in the US. The Fit Pro has four original colours – Beats Black, Beats White, Stone Purple, and Sage Gray.
