Battlegrounds Mobile India now officially available on Google Play Store | Digit
Battlegrounds Mobile India is now officially available on the Google Play Store. To recall, the game was initially made available a few weeks back. However, as it was done so in early access, many games did not get a chance to play it. With the official launch of the game, all players will be able to play. You can check out the official launch trailer for the game below.
Of course, when we say “all players”, we mean only Android users, at least for now. Battlegrounds Mobile India is currently not available on iOS yet, so iPhone and iPad players will have to wait a while before they get to play the game. Krafton Inc. hasn’t confirmed when the iOS version will launch, so players may have to wait a while.
While the game is live, players should note that there are rules that they are expected to follow when playing the game. Failure to do so could lead to a ban that could last from anywhere between a few days to forever. The list of infractions includes modification of the game client, exploiting glitches, teamkilling and more. You can check out the entire list here.
We had the chance to play the game in Early Access and we can tell you that the game is pretty much the same as PUBG Mobile in terms of gameplay. However, the differences between the two are much more subtle. For example, the new game does not feature blood effects and aren’t ‘killed’. Opponents are now ‘defeated’ and disappear like a puff of green confetti. Further, the game will not only remind players that Battlegrounds Mobile India is just a game that should not be taken too seriously. It will also inform players when they have played for too long. All these changes are designed to answer initial criticisms of the game being too violent and addictive.
