The company, as per the filing with the exchanges said, “The Board of Directors at its meeting held today, i.e. 13 September 2022, considered and declared an Interim dividend of Rs 110 (1,100%) per equity share of the face value of Rs 10, for the financial year ending 31 March 2023.”
Also, the company fixed the record date which is the date based on which investors’ eligibility for the dividend payout is determined. The filing further read, “Further, pursuant to Regulation 42 of the Sebi Listing Regulations, the record date for the purpose of determining the members eligible to receive the Interim Dividend has been fixed as Friday, 23 September 2022.
The company also clarified on the dividend payment date and said the interim dividend shall be credited on or around Monday, 10 October 2022.
Bajaj Holdings has been consistent in dividend pay-outs, and its dividend for the FY 2022 amounted to Rs 115 or 1150 per cent taking into account the current price of Rs 6620.7, the dividend yield turns out to be 1.74 per cent.
