Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s first picture from England shared by Ishant Sharma’s wife. See here

After playing it coy for days, the first picture of rumoured couple Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul has been shared online by Pratima Singh, the wife of cricketer Ishant Sharma.

Pratima’s selfie also featured Ishant Sharma. “Raho main unse mulakat ho gayi!” she captioned the post. Rahul dropped a heart emoji in the comments section. “Okay I’m not crying,” one fan commented. “NO WAYY MY HEART IS SO HAPPY RN,” wrote another.

Previously, Athiya and Rahul had hinted that they’re in England together after they met with the same friend, and posted photos from the get-together on their respective Instagram accounts. Athiya also clicked photographs of actor Anushka Sharma and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, for which Anushka credited her on social media.

Athiya’s father, actor Suniel Shetty, confirmed that she is in England, but noted that she’d gone with her brother, Ahan. He had said that she’d be the best person to ask about Rahul. “Yes, she is in England, but she is with Ahan. The brother-sister duo has gone there for a holiday. Rest you may check with them,” Suniel had told a leading daily.

He was commenting on Athiya and Rahul’s joint appearance for an eyewear brand commercial. “I think it is best you speak to them. As far as the ad goes… I mean it is an international brand and they chose to take the two of them as the ambassadors. I think they look brilliant together. They are a good-looking couple, na? So, it totally works from a brand perspective. And I must say, they look good together, well, in the ad,” he had said.

Athiya, known for films such as Hero (2015), Mubarakan (2017) and Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019), had also shared a picture with the backdrop of The Ageas Bowl stadium, which was the venue for the WTC Final. The rumoured couple has remained tight-lipped about their relationship.
