Former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover shared a post after Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) filed an FIR (first information report) against him and his family members. Besides Ashneer, his wife Madhuri Jain Grover, and family members Deepak Gupta, Suresh Jain, and Shwetank Jain are also accused for an alleged 81 crore fraud in December last year, complained by BharatPe. The photo featured a glimpse into a corner of his house. Ashneer posed next to a mantel. He looked casual in a shirt and jeans. Sharing the photo, Ashneer wrote in the caption, “Just another day in paradise!”

Ashneer and Madhuri live in a lavish apartment in South Delhi. While the photo shows only a corner of their house, the apartment also comes with several amenities. It has an esthetically pleasing living area with ivory couches and a tea table with gold-plated coasters.

Ashneer also has an in-house bar adjacent to the living area, with over 100-150 bottles of alcohol, as shown in a house tour video by Brut India. He also showed his infamous ivory-coloured dining table, which was rumoured to be worth Rs10 crore. Their Abode with huge corridors, kids’ rooms, a modern kitchen, spacious bedrooms, connecting elevator and a personal garage with a collection of their swanky cars.

Businessman Ashneer is the co-founder and former managing director of BharatPe. Reportedly, he was fired from the fintech in March 2022 on charges of financial irregularities. Since his removal from the company, Ashneer has been entangled in several court disputes.

Currently, Ashneer and his family members are charged under eight sections of serious cognisable criminal offences, including 409 (criminal breach of trust by public servant, banker, merchant, or agent), 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 467 (forgery of valuable security, will, etc.), and 120B (criminal conspiracy).

He rose to popularity with the show Shark Tank India Season 2 and became a household name. Despite the success of the first season, he didn’t return in Season 2. He also released a book called Doglapan.
