ASG Eye Hospitals opens facility in Dombivli, Maharashtra – ET HealthWorld

Mumbai: ASG Eye Hospitals inaugurated a facility in Dombivli, giving patients easy access to world-class holistic eye care under one roof. The state-of-the-art facility is the the fifth in Maharashtra. The group plans to strengthen its presence by opening 10 more hospitals over the next 18 months in the region. The super-specialty eye care hospital equipped with the latest in ophthalmology technology for cutting-edge diagnosis and treatment of complex eye conditions. Centrally located at Jaykul Arcade, Manpada Road in Dombivli, the hospital also provides round-the-clock emergency services for eye trauma and a 24×7 eye banking facility. The new launch in the country’s financial capital expands the ASG Eye Hospitals network to 50+ hospitals across 16 states in India, Uganda, and Nepal.

The facility will provide comprehensive services using advanced technology and diagnostic tools including treatment of corneal conditions including corneal transplantation and C3R therapy for keratoconus, complete glaucoma management including ologen assisted filtering surgery and glaucoma valve to lower intra ocular pressure. Comprehensive cataract management with advanced Phaco systems and state-of-the-art bladeless Femto cataract system, the most modern diabetic retinopathy management options using retinal laser / anti VEGF drugs, and sutureless 23/25 G vitrectomy treatment. Surgery for retinal detachment including scleral buckling surgery, vitrectomy procedures, and pneumatic retinopexy procedures. The hospital also offers the most modern squint management options including non-surgical as well as surgical treatment with the latest fornix method. Amblyopia, also known as lazy eye leading to squint and other problems is also tackled through various treatment options. The hospital also offers Q-Lasik state-of-the-art technology for permanent removal of spectacles and contact lenses.
