Apple Saket store in Delhi opens tomorrow: inside pictures
Apple Delhi store is smaller than the Mumbai store but as expensive
Apple Saket spans over 8,400 square feet, and the company is reportedly paying a whopping Rs 40 lakh as monthly rental. Ironically, the rental amount is more or less the same as Apple BKC, despite the Mumbai store spanning over 20,000 square feet.
Diversity in staff
Apple Saket employs more than 70 people who come from 18 states in India and collectively speak more than 15 languages.
Apple’s Genius Bar
There’s the famous Genius Bar, where customers can make appointments for hands-on technical and hardware support from experts – right from setting up an Apple ID to experiencing a device.
Sessions and interactions with customers
Daily sessions, titled Today at Apple, will be held in a roundtable setting for photographers, musicians, artists, and first-time Apple customers.
Barricade inspired by Delhi’s history
The barricade for Apple Saket, revealed earlier by the company, is inspired by Delhi’s many gates. It reflects an ombre effect in hues spanning from yellow to purple.
Apple’s commitment to the environment
Like all Apple stores, Apple Saket too runs on 100 percent renewable energy and is carbon neutral. In 2020, Apple committed to be 100 percent carbon neutral for its supply chain and products.
Special wallpapers and music
Apple has curated a special Apple Music playlist and released some customised Apple Saket wallpapers to mark the occasion.
