Apple rolls out iOS 15.3 beta update after releasing iOS 15.2 for public – Times of India

Apple has started to roll out the first beta version of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 to developers. The update is available to developers as an over-the-air update in the Settings app. The build number of the iOS 15.3 beta 1 is 19D5026g. Unveiled at WWDC in June, iOS 15 brings in notable features to iPhones but few features were missing when the company released the update for eligible iPhone models. A couple of those missing features were released by the company in later iOS updates but the users still haven’t received all the promised features. As per various reports, the IOS 15.3 will not include remaining features that the company announced.
The new iOS beta update has been released just a few days after the tech giant started to roll out the iOS 15.2 to the public. With the iOS 15.2 update, the company has added App Privacy Report privacy feature that allows users to see how much of their sensitive information such as location, camera, photos, microphone and others has been accessed by the application installed on their smartphones. It shows a report of what the apps have been doing behind the scenes over the past seven days. If you have installed the new update on your iPhone you can access this feature by going into Settings > Privacy >App Privacy Report. You have to keep the toggle on for a few days before the data can show up here.
Apart from this, the company has also redesigned the Notification Summary feature. Now, when you tap on the summary, you see all the notifications in a single card. On previous iOS versions, the notifications are shown in separate cards. The Notification Summary feature allows users to schedule all the notifications that they don’t want to see on the lock screen. “Receive a helpful collection of your notifications delivered daily, in the morning and evening, or scheduled at a time you choose. The summary is intelligently ordered by priority, with the most relevant notifications at the top, so you can quickly catch up.” said Apple when it introduced the feature.
