Apple Music Sing brings karaoke to everyone – Times of India

Building on its real-time lyrics experience, Apple Music brings a new karaoke-style mode, the “Apple Music Sing.” The ‘Sing’ integrated within Apple Music lets you sing along to tens of millions of songs with real-time lyrics and adjustable vocals so you can hear yourself singing.
Apple Music Sing will be coming later this month worldwide on iPhone, iPad, and the new Apple TV 4K, to all Apple Music subscribers.
“Apple Music’s lyrics experience is consistently one of the most popular features on our service,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “We already know our users all over the world love to follow along to their favourite songs, so we wanted to evolve this offering even further to enable even more engagement around music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers are going to love it.”
The Apple Music Sing comes with features similar to that of traditional karaoke, including adjustable vocals, background vocals, and a duet view while showing users real-time lyrics.
With adjustable vocals, users will be able to control the song’s vocal levels. They can choose to sing with the artist, take the lead, or mix it with millions of other songs. Meanwhile, users can choose to have vocal lines animate independently from the main vocals to make it easier for them to follow.
Users can sing along to over millions of songs with animated lyrics, and can also have multiple vocalists show on opposite sides of the screen with the duet view, making duets or multi-singer tracks easy to sing along.
Upon the launch of Sing, Apple Music will bring more than 50 companion playlists featuring epic karaoke songs, duets, choruses, and anthems that are popular with people all around the world.
