The M2 Max and M2 Pro-powered Apple MacBook Pro 14 and Apple MacBook Pro 16 laptops are available for purchase. Apple launched the new MacBook Pro laptops earlier this week and customers can now purchase both laptops via the company’s official website and other authorised retail channels.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at Rs 1,99,900 for the M2 processor and 10-core CPU variant. The 12-core CPU variant with the M2 processor starts at Rs 2,49,900. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Max processor starts at Rs 3,09,900.
The 16-inch variant with M2 Pro processor starts at Rs 2,49,900 whereas the one with M2 Max processor starts at Rs 3,49,900.

For starters, the new MacBook Pro models are powered by the new M2 Pro and M2 Max silicon. Apple claims that the new MacBook Pros are six times faster than the previous generation.
The MacBook Pro with M2 Pro features a 10- or 12-core CPU with up to eight high-performance and four high-efficiency cores for up to 20 per cent greater performance over M1 Pro.
In addition, it also packs a next-generation GPU with up to 19 cores that claim to deliver up to 30% more graphics performance and up to 40% faster Neural Engine than its predecessor.
The new MacBook Pro models feature a Liquid Retina XDR display and a 1080p FaceTime HD camera as well.
The M2 Max, on the other hand, has a next-gen 12-core CPU with up to eight high-performance and four high-efficiency cores that deliver up to 20 per cent greater performance over M1 Max.
The new MacBook Pro supports Wi-Fi 6E,which is up to twice as fast as the previous generation, as well as advanced HDMI, which supports 8K displays for the first time.
IO ports on the laptops include three Thunderbolt 4 ports for faster data transfer, an SDXC card slot and MagSafe 3 charging.
