So, the widget, which used to be a shortcut to the app, now lets users search for music directly from the home screen. All you have to do is tap the widget, similar to how one taps the icon in the control centre on iPhone.

But you can shrink it up to 1×1 if you want less hindrance on your home screen, and have just the Shazam icon, pulsating when finding the music and sending a notification for the title.
