Thirty-seven-year-old Agrawal is an IIT Bombay and Stanford alumnus and had joined the company way back in 2011. He joins the highly coveted league of other Indian-origin CEOs of big tech companies such as Google, Microsoft and IBM. Parag Agrawal’s appointment as Twitter CEO was a proud moment indeed for all Indians across the globe.
