If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, Amazon’s Fire HD 8 tablet is your best choice, offering an impressive 40 percent discount.

This is also the latest version of the tablet, which promises to be 30 percent faster than the previous generation of the Fire HD 8.

If the savings are not enough to tempt you to buy these tablets, Amazon noted that customers who purchase a Fire Tablet can get 3 months of Kindle Unlimited for free.

Kindle Unlimited, which usually costs £9.49 per month, is Amazon’s subscription service that lets you read millions of books and listen to audiobooks.

While the tablet supports popular apps like BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Now, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more through Amazon’s Appstore, it is important to note that Google Play is not supported on the Fire tablets, meaning that subscription fees may apply.

Furthermore, all these discounts are applied on the “With Ads option”, which displays sponsored screensavers on your device’s lock screen and in sleep mode.

This version allows Amazon to sell the tablet for a much cheaper price, by offering personalised ads every time you try to open the tablet.

The retailer also has deals on the versions of the tablets without ads, however, these devices are all slightly more expensive.

If you do buy a “With ads” version of the Fire tablets and then change your mind, Amazon noted that you can unsubscribe by making a one-time payment to cover the difference between the device price with and without lock screen ads.
