A new Redmi smartphone has been spotted in the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) database. It has the model number 2312DRAABC, and this phone is said to be part of the Redmi Note 13 series, according to a report by ITHome. The listing confirms that there is a smartphone in the making but it doesn’t reveal anything else.
With the Redmi Note 13 series too we can expect a number of smartphones. Since the Redmi Note 12 series is still fresh in the market, it will take a couple of months until we see its successor. Xiaomi usually plays around with the branding of Redmi smartphones for different brands. It also launches some Redmi phones as POCO phones in India. In some cases, the moniker is the same for global markets but the phones turn out to be different.
Redmi Note 12R launch (Expected)
Xiaomi is now expected to launch a new Redmi Note 12 smartphone in China, and it could be the Redmi Note 12R. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.79-inch FHD+ display, and it could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It is also said to pack up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. On the software front, the Redmi Note 12R is expected to run Android 12 with MIUI 14 out-of-the-box.
