Google will offer four different categories of watch faces on the Pixel Watch 2, according to a report by Android Authority. These include Accessible, Arc, Bold Digital, and Analog Bold.

Starting with Accessible, as the name suggests, this one offers the most minimalist designs for watch faces with just the time, calendar, and battery status. Even under this category, you have four options including Just Time, Circular, Linear and Stacked Time.   

Arc watch faces on the Pixel Watch 2 offer the most customisations to choose indices, complications and elements, and even a toggle to enable or disable the second hand. There are six variants in total under Arc.

Bold Digital watch faces will be familiar as they’re based on one of the lockscreen clocks on Pixel phones running Android 14. These are actually very bold with big and colourful fonts that show either just the time or three complications. There are two variants to choose from — Just Time and Radial.

Analog Bold offers analog watch faces with customisations. You get to choose from different variants depending on the number of complications you want. You can also go for simple designs that are available with the variants ‘Date’ and ‘Numerals’ that show just the clock in large fonts. 

Google is also reportedly bringing ‘Dynamic Color’ to the Pixel Watch 2 along with Wear OS 4. This means that the Pixel Watch 2’s overall theme will be colour-coordinated based on the colour of the watch face. The boot animation will also appear in the same dynamic colours. Google also plans to add more options to customise the watch faces on the Pixel Watch 2.
