Alia Bhatt says this recent habit of daughter Raha has become the best thing in her life: ‘It’s like a romantic moment’

Alia Bhatt opened up about parenting her daughter Raha Kapoor and revealed the one adorable thing that she has started to do which is “the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my life.” She said that Raha has started to touch her face while she’s feeding her. Alia and Ranbir married in April last year and are parents to six-month-old daughter Raha. During her recent trip to New York for her Met Gala debut, Alia had revealed in the behind-the-scenes video that coming to the Met was the longest she has been away from Raha, almost four days.

Now, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Alia was asked what was the best thing that happened to her this week. To this question, the Darlings actor said, “My daughter started touching my face. I think that’s the best thing that’s happened to me this past week. Because now when I’m feeding her, she just takes a minute, looks up at me and starts touching my face. It’s like a romantic moment between the two of us. And it’s literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my life.”

In the same interview. Alia also opened up about shooting for an action film while she was pregnant and said that she has grown into a more patient person after becoming a mother. “Every day is a new day with my daughter, and every day is a new day experiencing a new gesture or a new expression. I keep saying the most important thing I’ve learned is patience. I’ve always been a very impatient person, and if it’s possible, I became even more impatient over time. But I think having a baby and motherhood definitely gives you a sense of stillness, a sense of calm. I mean, it’s so highly demanding from the very beginning. It can be extremely overwhelming. But if you just go through it with patience, it really gives you a lot of inner strength,” she added.

Alia will next be seen in her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. She also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh in the pipeline. She is yet to begin work on Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, where she will star alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
