Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor step out for dinner as Gangubai Kathiawadi makes ₹100 cr, fan says ‘Alia is blushing’

Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor stepped out for dinner on Wednesday. In line with Alia’s all-white wardrobe for promotions of Gangubai Kathiawadi, even Ranbir wore white. The two were spotted leaving a restaurant together as Gangubai Kathiawadi almost made it to the ₹100 crore club. Alia was seen in a white-coloured one-shoulder top and matching cargo pants. Ranbir joined her in a printed black shirt and white pants. As the two made an exit from the restaurant, Alia was seen moving towards their car while Ranbir walked behind her while shielding her from the sides. Alia simply smiled for a moment as the paparazzi called out her name and even called her ‘Gangubai’.

As a video of them was shared on a paparazzi account, a fan commented, “Alia is constantly blushing around Ranbir.” Another pointed out how Alia didn’t greet the media upon her exit, the way she did while promoting her film. “I’m missing Alia who would stop by and talk to media during promotion lol,” read a comment. A fan also asked, “Any update on their wedding folks?” Some also called them “cute couple” and “perfect couple” in the comments section. 

Alia has been actively promoting her film ever since its release on February 25. She has been spotted in white sarees as she went around the city for movie promotions. The actor has been getting rave reviews for her performance as a brothel owner who chose to fight for the rights of sex workers. 

Earlier, Ranbir was asked about his reaction to the Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer. He simply did an Alia-style namaste for the paparazzi by raising his hands over his head. While Ranbir is yet to share his response to the film, Alia has often been asked about his reaction. According to India Today, she had once said during a media interaction, “He has seen it. Sabko Ranbir ka response chahiye (Everyone wants Ranbir’s reaction). Unfortunately, he is not on social media, so he cannot speak about his response. I am going to try and convince him to give me a byte for my movie. So that you get his response. How can I give his response?”
