Amazon has collaborated with Digital2Sports, a partnership between One Digital Entertainment and Channel2Group, and the official audio rights holder for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, to give an upgrade to its voice assistant Alexa. Amazon has added new skills to Alexa, commemorating the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which could make the match-watching experience more exciting.

You can now get the latest match updates, like schedules, scores, team sheets, and player stats, and enable the live commentary and player stats option. Further, TV Conal, a Singapore-based data analytics company, introduced an Alexa skill to analyze recent matches using data from past games. TV Conal uses Big Data and machine learning to solve the most challenging problems in data analytics for cricket fans.

Cricket fans can use Alexa to ask for information such as the probable winner, innings scores, and much more to improve their live sports experience. For example, ask:

  1. “Alexa, ask the Cricket Predictor how much Australia will score.”
  2. “Alexa, ask the Cricket Predictor who will take the next wicket.”
  3. “Alexa, ask the Cricket Predictor who will be the top scorer.”
  4. “Alexa, remind me when India’s match starts.”
  5. “Alexa, when is India vs. Pakistan match?” and other commands like this.

This skill is free to use on various devices, including Echo smart speakers, Fire TV, the Alexa mobile app, and even the Amazon shopping app (Android).
