Aishwarya Rai showers Abhishek Bachchan with ‘birthday love’ as actor turns 47, calls him ‘baby’ in Instagram post

As Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his 47th birthday on Sunday, wife and actor Aishwarya Rai shared an Instagram post late night to wish him on the occasion. She shared a happy picture of him and called him “baby” as she wished him with a small but sweet caption. Sharing the solo picture of a smiling Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai wrote, “Birthday love… today and forever, Baby,” along with a gift-wrapped heart emoticon and a kiss emoji. The actor is seen in a white T-shirt and black jacket, looking straight into the camera as he smiled.

A day before, Amitabh Bachchan had also expressed his thoughts on Abhishek turning 47. Recalling his achievements last year, Amitabh wrote on his blog, “How time has flown by… going back in time all the memories of the day and the several days that kept giving us the joy and the pride and the pleasure of Abhishek… and now to see him achieve his worth through his hard word, quietly, and proving all the naysayers wrong! It is a delight for a father for his son but mostly for the son, who has through the dint of his hard word and perseverance shown the mettle of his calibre and his confidence… That is the pride that one honours… He took his own decisions… he made his own choices… defied the norm and proved it… with his success.”

He mentioned that Abhishek “inspired” his Jaipur Pink Panthers to win the Kabaddi Championship, won a Best Actor award for his film Dasvi and topped the ‘Mood Of The Nation’ list. “A pride of the family… a pride for the father,” wrote Amitabh.

Abhishek has two major films in pipeline besides a cameo in Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa. He is working on R Balki’s Ghoomer. Ahead of his birthday, producer Anand Pandit also announced the sequel to his 2021 film The Big Bull and confirmed his return as the lead actor.
